The Royal Maternity Hospital was conceived to offer high-class primary and secondary healthcare services for women and children. The initial focus of this private specialised hospital is the provision of comprehensive maternity services, extending to pre-natal and post-natal care, in addition to gynaecology. The Hospital is designed as an exclusive retreat, where women can seek the highest levels of tailored medical services in a serene and relaxed environment. Covering an area of 40,000 square metres, it is situated on the outskirts of Riffa, in the vicinity of one of Bahrain’s most exclusive and prestigious residential neighbourhoods. The hospital was sold in 2018 prior to its planned opening, with the exit generating a return of 34 per cent on the original investment.
